When we first get out of the house to shop for the first baby, we often may forget to shop a blanket as well but the more tricky part is choosing what type of blankets? As we may not know what type of skin our baby has? For example some babies are having Eczema during the first few weeks of their life. While there are others who are allergic to Nylon, Polyester or Spandex and Acrylic.

During summer, I would suggest you use cotton fabric because cotton has its own unique character of keeping us cold in a hot summer day, since a long time now. Obviously if the baby is kept cold in a hot summer temperature, it could avoid all kinds of skin rushes and itchiness which could be caused by heat or temperature.

Just so you know, baby powders suitable to all skin types could be found to release skin rushes and any other discomfort caused by heat. Let me have you also aware about the cleanliness after putting the powders.

You would definitely not leave it for more than 6 to 8 hours on the baby’s body because it will turn the skin more red but if you remove it by washing at the mentioned time, you would put some Petroleum jelly Vaseline because it helps the skin heal faster due to its naturalness and reduces the skin redness.
In case of more complicated skin rushes, you would either refer to a pharmacy to purchase vitamin E cream or refer the doctor if you feel like there might be infections involved.
