How to take care of a baby with allergies?

This Article is dedicated to those parents who’s children have allergies!

How to take care of a baby with nutritional allergies, how to take care of a baby with food allergies?

Dearest Parents,

Babies could develop nutritional allergies even though they do not serve any nuts or peanuts but they do through Mom’s breast milk. As you all know what you serve will enter into your baby’s stomach through your milk. So if you are serving any nuts, you need to watch out for any allergies in baby. Even during your pregnancies, you need to slow down a bit. You never know if your baby becomes allergic even inside your womb and it is possible.

At this age they do not serve any nuts but you could see the signs wither they are allergic or not by observing them if they do not have any skin rush and itchiness caused by Eczema.

To be on the save side, I would suggest you do a blood test just to make sure they are not allergic. If your baby experience any rush and itchiness on their skin, you need to immediately take them to dermatologist who could foresee a test in which they needle your baby and pour the liquid in the form of drops of each nuts on their wrest or back of their hands, mark circles with a pen around each penetration and wait for 15 minutes.

If the skin where the drops were poured becomes swollen and red, then this is an allergic reaction and you absolutely need to avoid putting any lotion or oil containing any kind of nuts or consume anything containing nuts so that it does not get to your milk and through your milk to your baby.

What causes allergies in your baby?

Babies love massage. From time to time, they can get a good massage with Organic CBD Hemp & Olive Oil. It is good for the mother’s belly as well to heal the skin scars or birth marks due to pregnancy.

You need to carefully read all the labels before using any other oils because we never know if they contain nuts which is very much possible. There are Almond oils, Coconut oils, Jojoba oils and so on. We really need to know which ones of them are the causes of nutritional allergies in a baby.

If you had taken your child for allergy teste, it could have happened that you got a full detailed list of nutrition which causes food allergies. In that list you will be able to see with which foods or nutrition like nuts etc. your baby or you’re in high risk of developing any allergies. Once you get the list, you could cut back on those foods.

Please have your children’s Benadryl and EpiPen always on you, where ever you go or travel. You never know when they need it. Sometimes they need it immediately and with no means it should be delayed as it is the question of their health and well being.

Hi, This is a very serious subject for some kids. I am lucky so far with my grandson he has not shown any signs of allergies. My daughter wasn’t so lucky when she was a child. She is and has been her entire life allergic to eggs and strawberries. The eggs only if ingested. However, when it comes to strawberries just touching them will make her break out into hives. Thank you for this great information. I didn’t realize that a baby can develop allergies in the womb.

Hello. This is a very good site for information most people may pass on or not even think about. As parents and careers our first priority is to make sure those we care for are the safest.

Fortunately for my kids they haven’t had any allergic reactions to anything but I also give them healthy supplements to prevent anything from occurring, as they say prevention is better than cure.

There is a lot of beneficial information one would be grateful for looking to help their babies with allergies.

Wow, I had no idea that certain allergies could be passed on through breast milk, or at least foods that can cause allergies, such as nuts. When you’re breastfeeding you really have to watch your diet, don’t you? When I was a baby I had extreme ellargic reactions to vaccinations, my whole body was red and swollen, and the doctor called off all other vaccinations.

The video about the epipen was very informative. I didn’t know how to use an epipen and it was something I have always wanted to know, since it can be a lifesaver. So, I am glad I got to see that video. Thanks for sharing it!

That’s right! while breast feeding, we really need to watch our diet. Specially if we have family allergy background.

I am glad you found the article and the video helpful. So sorry to hear about your past childhood allergies. I hope you are feeling well now. I am very glad to know that you got helpful information from this article and that you learnt something which you wanted to learn for always.

Wow, there is always so much going on with a babies I think having a baby with severe allergies must be terrible. And as they get older and are more at risk of other people giving them things they could be allergic to. You give some Very safe advice but how does that fit with other advice I’ve heard lately about introducing babies to a wide variety of foods so that they don’t become allergic? There seems to be so much conflicting advice around at the moment. I love the idea of the baby massage they are always so great at calming both parents and babies 🙂

      Hello Deb,

Thank you very much for taking the time to read the article and offer a comment. Yes, we can offer all the other foods except for nuts and peanuts which are very highly allergic in nature. Specially, if the kid has an allergy background; we would definitely avoid these nuts and unfortunately make it an exception in our baby’s diet. In some situations, depending on the baby; eggs are also one of the highly allergic foods after nuts. To be on the safe side, it is always a good precaution to have our child do some allergy tests done and then upon the result we can offer them everything including the mentioned ones.

I hope your confusion is no more there after reading the response and that it help you and any other person who is in the search of such solutions.

      All the best,

    Hi Meena,

Taking care of babies with allergies is not easy. I occasionally take part in taking care of a friend’s baby. Since birth she was diagnosed with eczema, and so my friend had to visit one dermatologist after another until they met one who prescribed the best remedies – including hypoallergenic bedding, soap, shampoo, and essential oils to mix with water for her bath and rub on her skin after.

In this article you have mentioned all the best things to get specially when we have kids with allergies or even adults.

I am now showing this article to my friend and she is interested to check on the Hypoallergenic Bed Cover.

Thanks for sharing this helpful tips.

    God bless you,

    Chuna

      Hi Chuna,

Thank you very much for your time in reading the article. I would be really grateful to have helped your friend’s baby. I am a mother of two and I really feel how a mother feels for her children. Thanks to you to have forwarded it to your friend. I really appreciate that.

Yes, you are right! I selected and recommended all those essentials which were proven to show excellent results for my own allergic baby who is now eleven years old. Trust me, who would know better the feeling of a mother than one who has already experienced it.

Those hypoallergic bed covers are the best thing to have for babies and parents with allergies. My son loved it and it always gave him a relaxed and good night sleep.

The essential oils, soap and other things which I have listed in the article, had shown an extraordinary result beside the doctor’s prescriptions for my baby.

I am really glad that you found the article helpful. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions in regards to your friends baby with the allergies and I would be glad to help you.

Convey my best regards to your friend and a mothers love as well!

      May God bless you too,

Thanks for this article on kids allergy.Severe allergic reactions can be fatal very quickly. If your baby is having trouble breathing/wheezing, has swelling on their face/lips, or develops severe vomiting or diarrhea after eating, immediately call 911. You can inform your pediatrician at a later time.Solid foods should be introduced gradually between four to six months of age. Egg, dairy, peanut, tree nuts, fish and shellfish can be gradually introduced after less allergenic foods have been tolerated. In fact, delaying the introduction of these foods may increase your baby’s risk of developing allergies. As a child’s immune system matures, some food allergies will go away on their own. “About 85 percent of children outgrow food allergies to milk, egg, soy, or wheat by age 5,” says Renner. Allergies that are more likely to persist in later years include fish, shellfish, and nuts. Thanks

      Hello Zayom,

Thank you very much for carefully reading the article. I appreciate your time and comment.

Yes, As I mentioned in the article as well that before introducing any type of allergic foods such as egg, nuts, wheat etc.. if the child has a background in allergies; we need to have them tested before introducing them those foods. We would want to do so just to be in the safe side.

I agree that as their immune system gets matured as they grow, their resistance with the allergies will get better.

      All the best!

I found your article about how babies can develop allergies and how as an adult to care for the babies very helpful. I never knew that hemp and olive oils can help prevent a baby from any allergies. Do you suggest the Safe Rest bed cover for baby or children with allergies? Your 10 common signs of allergies list are very helpful and I believe that every parent should be aware of this so that they can help relieve their baby’s symptoms.

I am glad you found the list helpful. Yes, that’s right. Hemp Oil and Olive oil are safe for children with allergies. What I mean is that a baby or child with allergies could safely use that.

Yes, Safe Rest bed Covers could be used when we put the baby in our bed beside us. In my other varieties of Hypoallergenic Bed Covers, I have listed some for cribs as well.

I have worked with lots of babies before and the role of  parents and caretakers to their babies are really important because they cannot tell you how they feel.

Observing them really matters in case of allergies. You have written down all information and even if parents are in doubt, just go and bring your baby to Emergency even if you’re not sure if he is suffering from allergy or not. If so, time is really important because they could go to being very serious and catastrophic very fast.

Thanks for these vital information for parents.

      Hi Marita,

Thank you very much for reading the content. I am glad you liked it. I appreciate your feedback and sharing your own experience. This will give more information for on top of what I have shared. I agree, they could go serious very fast and as parents, we wouldn’t be taking any chances. That’s why referring to an allergist on the right time is very important.

All the best on your journey!

This is interesting, I had no idea that there was actually a specific way to take care of a baby who has allergies. Personally, I do not have a baby but my mom just had a new kid, he doesn’t have any current allergies but we all know that as time continues they do develop. I think that she will take great joy in reading this article because she will not only have learned something but she will be prepared  in case My little brother starts to develop some allergies

You’re welcome to share it with your Mom and any other people which you think may find it helpful.

I just wanted to add up one thing that not every single kid develops allergies when they grow up. It depends on each baby or child and any allergy backgrounds. Besides there are so many other factors in causing the kids to develop allergies.

Thank you for your time in reading the post and offering a comment.

I had allergies growing up. Cigarette Smoke was the worse. I couldn’t enter a place that someone had smoked in without my nose clogging up tight. Fortunately, no one in my immediate family smoked. I took the shots as a kid. There are strains of pollen that still set me off 40+ years later. Seeing kids deal with allerigies would be tough on parents. Some of these products look to be a good test to see if they help babies with allergies.

Thank you for sharing your own personal story as an experience. Yes, I agree that allergies in children are quite difficult. In this kind of situations, us parents we have to be extra careful. There are risks in every day, every sports time, every time they get worse.

      Kind regards,

      Meena
